About The Position
Family Resource Home Care is seeking passionate individuals to join their award-winning caregiving team. As a Lead Caregiver, you will be responsible for covering critical shifts, including fill-ins, new client assignments, and training new caregivers. This role requires availability on short notice during assigned availability times, serving clients across assigned branches' service areas. The schedule is a float schedule, meaning you will be on call for available shifts. The pay starts at $23.50/hr.
Requirements
- 18 years of age or older
- Ability to pass a state and national background check
- Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and clean driving record
- One year experience in home care, AFH, hospital, or nursing home setting
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Ability to provide more than companionship care and work with different care levels
- Smart phone with ability to download and utilize the AxisCare app
Nice To Haves
- Active state NAC/CNA or HCA license
- Current valid CEs if you are an HCA (WA Only)
Responsibilities
- Fill-in shifts for clients
- Assist with new client assignments
- Train new caregivers
- Support clients in activities of daily living such as household chores, cooking, bathing, dressing, grooming, and providing companionship.
- Transport clients for errands or appointments.
- Assist with transfers (gait belt or Hoyer).
- Monitor and report on client condition.
