About The Position
Lumexa Imaging partner Touchstone Medical Imaging is seeking an experienced, registered, and patient-oriented CT Technologist on a full-time basis to float and provide coverage in different outpatient imaging facilities. The CT Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality computed tomography (CT) procedures in a fast-paced outpatient imaging environment. This role ensures patient safety, comfort, and accurate imaging while delivering an exceptional patient experience.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Registered Technologist program
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
- Registry in Computed Tomography (CT)
Responsibilities
- Perform CT procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
- Ensure proper patient screening, positioning, and image quality
- Administer contrast media in accordance with physician orders and company policies
- Monitor patients throughout procedures, ensuring safety and comfort
- Verify patient information, orders, and documentation for accuracy
- Maintain CT equipment and report any issues promptly
- Adhere to all safety, infection control, and radiation safety standards
- Collaborate effectively with radiologists, technologists, and front office staff
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and work areas
