Our Float Pool team is a group of employees who are specially trained and readily available to seamlessly assimilate and stabilize clinical operations within our practices. We cover gaps due to unexpected call outs, long-term leaves, planned vacations, staffing vacancies, etc. This is a unique opportunity to work autonomously to the top of your education/certification while also functioning as part of a collaborative team. We are seeking per diem Clinic/practice assistant to pick up shifts Monday through Friday, but we can be flexible on exact days based on employee availability. Clinic/Practice Assistants serve as the face of our medical group and play a key role in managing the patient experience on the reception/administrative support side. We are looking for well-rounded customer service professionals who can multi-task, prioritize, and thrive in a high-volume outpatient setting! In this role, you would be expected to cover various practices across the Pioneer Valley. Towns/cities include: • Amherst • Belchertown • Florence • Greenfield • Hadley • Northampton • South Deerfield • West Hatfield • Williamsburg We do our best to keep all employees with their preferred geographic regions/specialty areas; however, float pool employees must be able and willing to commute to any of our locations during orientation (for training/precepting purposes) or during times of fluctuating staffing shortages (for cross-coverage purposes). Summary Performs both administrative and clinical functions to support smooth and efficient clinical service or practice operations under general supervision. Performs basic clerical work and tasks that are repetitive and routine. Administrative duties related to patient visits including scheduling, check-in, check-out duties.
