About The Position

The Center Administrator Assistant supports a Center Administrator in the planning and directing of professional and support personnel who provide outpatient care to patients in a clinical setting. The Center Administrator Assistant works within thorough, prescribed guidelines and procedures; uses independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors to solve basic problems; collaborates with management and top professionals/specialists in selection of methods, techniques, and analytical approach. The Center Administrator Assistant executes staffing plans and procedures for the facility and works with the care team to ensure patient outcomes. Decisions typically are related to schedule, plans, and daily operations. Perform escalated or more complex similar work, and have a group of support and technical associates; coordinates and provide daily oversight to associates. Ensure consistency in execution across team. Provide feedback on performance to Center Administration Management. Use your skills to make an impact.

Requirements

  • 1 year of operational leadership experience in a clinical office setting
  • Interpersonal skills with the ability to work with both internally and externally with different people including physicians and office staff
  • Knowledge of and experience working with Provider Communities
  • Medicare knowledge
  • Experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMRs) or Health Information Management (HIMs) systems
  • Knowledge of Excel, and PowerPoint Presentations in a business setting
  • A high level of engagement and emotional intelligence
  • Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on improving consumer experience
  • Must be bilingual English/Spanish

  • Basic knowledge of Population Health Strategy

  • Proven ability to function effectively in matrix management environment and as a member of an interdisciplinary team
  • Solid understanding of medical care delivery, managed care financial arrangements and reimbursement
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or related field
  • Experience managing a budget of $500,000+
