About The Position

The Rotary Branch Certifier/Trainer (RBC/T) develops, plans, coordinates, certifies, and delivers training for assigned Company maintenance personnel. Training covers aircraft general maintenance, avionics, jet engines, pneudraulics, and Company topics. The position also supports flightline operations when directed by management and may perform other assigned duties, including temporary duty (TDY) and travel.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Broad working knowledge of aircraft maintenance operations, preferably on the assigned helicopter aircraft.
Computer literacy and demonstrated certifier/trainer capabilities.
Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
Ability to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required to obtain the clearance.
Valid state driver’s license (Real ID) and ability to obtain and maintain a flightline driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Certify and train mechanics in aircraft servicing, ground handling, and special-interest items as directed by the Site Manager or Program Manager.
Provide initial training for new hires, including preparing training records, scheduling initial training classes, delivering the new-hire orientation briefing, and certifying initial core tasks as directed by leadership before employees are released to their section supervisors.
Use and ensure the use of technical data in all aspects of maintenance training.
Update applicable training course codes in MIS and track training awaiting action and overdue statuses.
Complete required training documentation in accordance with Air Force and Company directives.
Review training records to ensure required maintenance training documentation is current and correct.
Augment flightline operations when directed by management.
Perform other assigned duties, including TDY and travel.
Assist with CUT training for maintenance personnel and qualify to perform maintenance tasks associated with other classifications.
Work day, swing, night, and/or weekend shifts as required so all shifts receive identical training requirements.
