About The Position

This role involves leading the development of system performance requirements, test objectives, methods, and procedures for developmental and qualification testing on C 130 platforms. The engineer will conduct technical evaluations of requirement documents and system descriptions, assess operability and functionality, and recommend improvements. Support for test planning activities includes participation in meetings, working groups, and reviews, as well as preparing briefing materials and coordinating resources. The position requires developing various test-related documents such as MOTs, test plans, CONOPS, flight test cards, reports, TEMPs, and T&E strategies, coordinating with diverse teams including flight test engineers, instrumentation, analysts, logisticians, aircrew, and supporting agencies. Responsibilities also include supporting and overseeing test execution, which may involve flying as a non-rated crewmember, collecting data, validating instrumentation, conducting analysis, and preparing mission accomplishment and final reports.
