Role is for a Flight Test Engineer for Leonardo Helicopters, based in Philadelphia, working on Type Certificate (TC), Post-TC and Supplemental TC Test programs (AW609, AW119, AW139, etc). Responsibilities include: Development of Test Plans, Test Condition database and Test methodology Mission planning for Flight Tests to meet all test objectives, including writing of test cards, Risk worksheets, Pre-Flight & Post-Flight briefings Directing experimental flight tests either remotely through real-time telemetry or on-board data monitoring Leading or supporting Test Readiness reviews prior to the start of a test campaign. Coordination with Operations and Aircraft Management to ensure proper configuration and readiness of aircraft for test Coordination with all other relevant Engineering functions in support of planning and executing a flight test Ensuring displays for real-time monitoring are up-to-date for aircraft limitations Capture and release test information in Daily Test Summaries, Test Reports for FAA/ Customer submission Applicant must have ability to travel 10% of the time for Training opportunities Applicant must have the ability to obtain a Class II or III medical certificate Applicant must be willing to attend the Water Survival (Helo dunker) and Altitude Chamber training Applicant must be able to support off-hours testing, 2nd shift testing, weekends as needed
