Flight Nurses are expected to be knowledgeable, participate in, and promote the Acadian/AirMed mission, vision, and goals. They conduct themselves as leaders, role models, and clinical resources. This role involves participating in meetings with the Air Med Management group, including disaster drills, staff meetings, and community/hospital meetings. The Flight RN identifies areas of concern and communicates them to Flight Line Supervisors, Associate Quality Improvement Supervisors, Operations Manager/Supervisor, Chief Flight Nurse, and Quality Improvement Supervisor as necessary. They also promote company health and wellness programs and initiatives, assist with Associate Quality Improvement Supervisors and Flight Line Supervisors as needed, and undertake special projects as assigned.
