Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in customer service or a similar field.
  • Must meet all requirements necessary to obtain a Port Authority of NY/NJ (PANYNJ) ID badge, in accordance with TSA regulations (49 CFR §1542.209).
  • Proficient in basic computer use and systems navigation.
  • Strong planning, coordination, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Hands-on and proactive approach to teamwork and task execution.
  • Comfortable working at least 70% of the shift in a cooler/refrigerated environment.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work effectively while meeting stringent deadlines.
  • Strong teamwork and leadership capabilities.
  • Must be able to read, write, and communicate clearly in English; bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
  • Must have a flexible schedule to support business operations, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain clear and professional communication across all operational channels, promptly distributing incoming information to the appropriate departments.
  • Ensure all production processes meet established quality standards and deadlines to guarantee the accurate, on-time handover of DO & CO’s high-end products directly to the aircraft crew.
  • Verify that all products and trolleys consistently meet the highest quality standards and are delivered according to customer specifications.
  • Conduct physical inventory counts and pack additional equipment or products as needed, working inside a refrigerated environment.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and provide suggestions to enhance operational efficiency and customer service.
  • Confirm that all special meals and correct meal counts are prepared, packed, and accurately assigned for each flight.
  • Collaborate with the Food Packing team and support the assembly line when necessary, including tray setup, food preparation, and packaging in a refrigerated environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management while upholding DO & CO’s operational and quality standards.
