About The Position

This position is responsible for maintaining the interior, exterior, and general condition of Med Transport helicopters and airplanes, which are utilized for missions both locally and globally. Exterior cleaning is crucial for long-term aircraft maintenance, viability, and to uphold the quality image of a highly visible Intermountain Health asset. Interior cleanliness is vital for patient, passenger, and crewmember health through sanitization, as well as for the long-term care and protection of interior surfaces.

• Buffing and polishing aircraft exteriors, including windows and Metal components
• Basic experience cleaning automobiles or other machinery

• Prior experience in automotive or aviation detailing.

Responsibilities

• Self-manages and schedules machine polishing of brightwork, paint polishes, and sealants.
• Cleaning of passenger/crew cabins, lavatories, cockpits, and aircraft exteriors, ensuring aircraft are mission ready.
• Maintains tools and consumable inventory necessary to perform cleaning assignments.
• Stocks aircraft with general and passenger preferred stock, including, to a limited extent, medical equipment and supplies.
• Assists Maintenance leads and Managers with miscellaneous tasks such as cleaning hangar area, transporting parts and equipment to various base locations, assisting mechanics with aircraft maintenance tasks, etc.
• Assists in maintaining hangar facility as assigned
