About The Position

Quad is hiring an experienced Flexographic Press Operator at our Spartanburg, SC, facility. Our 82,000-square-foot Spartanburg facility specializes in innovative packaging solutions for the healthcare, pharmaceutical, consumer packaged goods, and retail industries. Using state-of-the-art sheetfed offset, narrow-web flexographic, die-cutting, and folder/gluer equipment, our team delivers exceptional quality in a clean, climate-controlled manufacturing environment.

Requirements

• Previous flexographic printing press operating experience is required
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Good color perception and attention to print quality
• Ability to read, write, and understand English to follow job instructions, safety procedures, and production documentation
• Ability to follow job specifications and use basic measuring tools
• Ability to stand for a 10-hour shift
• Ability to lift 10–15 lbs. regularly and up to 50 lbs. occasionally
• Ability to work overtime and holidays as needed

Nice To Haves

• Mark Andy P5 experience preferred; experience with other flexographic presses will be considered

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate flexographic printing presses
• Monitor color, registration, quality, and press performance
• Make adjustments to maintain quality and production efficiency
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues
• Inspect finished products to customer specifications
• Complete required production and quality documentation
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
