Requirements

  • Ability to operate or to quickly learn to operate various printing machines.
  • Ability to follow instructions.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent Mechanical Skills
  • Punctual and Reliable.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience with Mark Andy Printing equipment – A MUST.
  • Physically able to operate printing machines.
  • Able to bend, twist, and kneel.
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Narrow Web Printing Industry preferred.
  • Vocational/technical school training preferred; on-the-job training provided.
  • Previous related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Produce printed objects and materials using assigned printing machinery.
  • Stage Flexo Presses with materials and tooling for efficient workflow.
  • Run press and complete jobs in an efficient manner.
  • Assist with Quality Control in the pressroom.
  • Perform any other additional activities as directed by your supervisor (which may include running a machine, and/or assisting in maintenance needs).
  • Operate various types of printing machines.
  • Review client requests to understand scope and parameters of print jobs.
  • Determine quantities required for print job.
  • Align and configure machinery.
  • Inspect random production samples to evaluate quality of printings.
  • Troubleshoot issues with printing machine and make basic repairs.
  • Perform routine maintenance on printing machines.
  • Draft and submit reports for daily production totals.
  • Maintain a clean area around printing machinery.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
