About The Position
Western States Envelope and Label Company is seeking a skilled Flexo Press Operator to join their team. The company has over 115 years of experience providing high-quality envelopes, labels, and packaging. The Flexo Press Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining press machinery to produce high-quality products efficiently and safely. This role is ideal for someone passionate about print and experienced in operating complex machinery.
Requirements
- Prior Flexographic Press Set Up Operator experience.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Good eye for product quality and safety.
- Good attendance and reliable transportation to work.
Nice To Haves
- Printing industry experience in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Thoroughly read and follow the order jacket.
- Responsible for all setup, cleanup, and troubleshooting on all machines.
- Perform color matches and other quality control checks throughout the shift.
- Produce a world-class label product in a fast-paced work environment.
- Offer and drive suggestions to improve the overall process.
- Organize and implement improvement ideas in the work area.
- Other duties may be assigned.
