About The Position

The Flexo Operator is responsible for operating the Flexo machine, which prints using flexographic ink and is capable of die cutting, scoring, slotting, folding, and gluing corrugated sheets to manufacture finished boxes. This position also requires the individual to be a solutions provider while embodying the company's core values: Help 1st, Take Ownership, Do the Right Thing, and Expect Excellence.

Requirements

GED or High school diploma
18 years of age or older

Responsibilities

Inputs orders to the machine console
Performs machine set-up in accordance with specifications on the Factory Job Ticket
Responsible for cutting dies and hand holes to be secured and tightened before running the machine
Set-up of automatic bundler
Monitors quality of the product throughout and makes necessary adjustments to print as needed
Relieves all members for breaks and assists helpers with any plate removal, ink, etc.
Responsible for production feedback to crew and to Supervisor
Maintains a clean work area free of trip hazards and spills
Ability to work in excess of 40 hours, as business needs arise
Regular and reliable attendance
Any other task or duty that is deemed necessary by management.
