About The Position

Field Technicians, POS Technicians & Network technicians are encouraged to apply. Technicians handle implementing, maintaining, upgrading, and or repairing networks/ networked devices such as access points, routers, switches, POS systems, printers, and modems. This role involves Smart Lock access, setting up and troubleshooting connections in many different environments, and connecting them with physical cables or wireless frequencies, creating adequate signal strength throughout a location for a client's use.

Requirements

Current Driver’s License, insurance, and a vehicle.
Previous IT or Related technical technician experience is required.
Technically inclined – experience with Cabling runs/ management/ testing/ terminating, Network provisioning.
Excellent communication skills via phone, text, and email.
Smart Phone mobile device.
Flexible availability.
Able to climb up and down ladders.
Over the age of 18.

Nice To Haves

Certifications are a plus but not required.
POS experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Implementing, maintaining, upgrading, and/or repairing networks/networked devices such as access points, routers, switches, POS systems, printers, and modems.
Handling Smart Lock access.
Setting up and troubleshooting connections in various environments.
Connecting devices using physical cables or wireless frequencies to ensure adequate signal strength.
Testing networks and Wi-Fi signals, including heat mapping.
Installing and troubleshooting access points, routers, and switches.
Traveling to various markets.
Using hand tools frequently.
Reaching above head for items.
Using a computer and telephone system.
Regularly standing, walking, bending over, and reaching overhead.
