About The Position
SRS is looking for a dependable and detail-oriented merchandiser to maintain a small branded cooler/freezer unit at a local grocery store in the Dubuque, IA area. This flexible opportunity is perfect for someone who lives nearby or already has business in the area. This is a 1099 independent contractor role with as-needed gig scheduling; hours and project frequency vary by client, market, and season. No mileage or drive time reimbursement is offered. This opportunity is best suited to local individuals or those with other business in the area.
Requirements
- Individuals who live close to the store within a 10-15 mile radius
- Those comfortable using a smartphone to report tasks
- Professionals looking for supplemental income, not a full-time position
Responsibilities
- Visit the store 1 time per week (based on client requirements)
- Perform bi-weekly full product changeouts, including defrosting the unit, restocking, and updating signage
- On other visits, check inventory levels and restock as needed (20 min. average)
- Verify thermostat settings are accurate per instructions
- Report service via smartphone/device the same day, including required photos
