About The Position

This position is responsible for the efficient operation of Flexaust machines, tracking pieces produced, and inspecting final products for quality. The work environment is a manufacturing plant where employees will be required to wear personal protective equipment and may be asked to work overtime based on the production schedule. Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work area is essential.

Requirements

Ability to lift 55 pounds consistently.
Ability to read and write in English.
Thorough knowledge of Flexaust product lines and construction requirements.
Capability of meeting production standards and exceeding them on occasion.
Maintain records of material used and machine conditions.
Basic tape reading knowledge.

Responsibilities

Operate Flexaust machines efficiently.
Track pieces produced.
Inspect final products for quality.
Maintain safe, clean, and organized work areas.
Understand and operate Flexaust hose machines and downstream equipment for production and quality.
Perform 1st article inspection and complete audit sheets.
Maintain and ensure the general condition of machinery and equipment in the area.
Complete work request forms when needed.
Accurately report labor and materials used in production, as well as footage of product manufactured.
Maintain open communication with the supervisor regarding equipment condition, raw material quality, and product output.
Ensure a safe work area and promptly report any safety hazards.
Maintain housekeeping and organization of assigned and related areas.
Correctly package all products.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or management.
