Flex Truck Driver - Class A - Penske Logistics
About The Position
Immediate Opportunities: Full-time Class A CDL Truck Drivers. Average $120000 annually. $5000 retention bonus. Up to 2 weeks OTR. $80 per diem per night OTR. $1416 weekly minimum. $0.66 per mile, $26.50 per delivery, and more. No out-of-pocket travel expenses. Driver referral bonus program up to $5000 per referral. You will drive: Late model, Penske Truck Leasing trucks. Best-in-class specs designed for comfort and safety. Equipped with inward and outward facing in-cab cameras helping to ensure safety for all. What you will do: This position requires the driver to travel regionally to work at various locations as needed. Perform multi-stop deliveries of bread to customers. Schedule: Dispatch times will vary depending on work assignment. Drivers can expect to be away from home 1 to 2 weeks per assignment. Flexibility required.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
- Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
- 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years
- 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
- English language proficiency
- Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required
- Ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others
- The associate must be able to see and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
- The associate must be able to legally operate a motor vehicle and safely and frequently enter/exit the vehicle as well as the rear cargo area.
