Flex Truck Driver - CDL Class A - Penske Logistics
About The Position
Immediate Opportunities: Full-time Class A CDL Truck Drivers. Average W2 $117000. 5 day work week. Weekends off. Additional performance incentives available, up to $10400 annually. This position requires the driver to travel regionally to work at various locations as needed. Perform multi-stop deliveries of parts and supplies to automotive dealerships. Unload freight by hand. Use scanner to scan products as they are unloaded and delivered. Dispatch times will vary depending on work assignment. Drivers will travel to assigned location, and work from there for duration of work assignment. Overnight travel during the week, with home time typically on weekends. You will drive late model, Penske maintained trucks with best-in-class specs designed for comfort and safety. Equipped with inward and outward facing in-cab cameras helping to ensure safety for all.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
- Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
- 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years
- 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
- English language proficiency
- Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required.
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
- Ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others.
