FLEX Traveling Oral Surgery Dental Assistant
About The Position
This is a Full-Time FLEX Oral Surgery Dental Assistant role. May requires local travel between the following locations: Boston, Medford, Waltham and Worcester. Requirements
- Knowledge of surgical procedures and terminology
- Strong verbal skills
- Calm and professional in stressful situations
- Possess required certifications, licensure or registration as required by state
- Embrace a positive team approach to patient care
Responsibilities
- Greet and prepare patients for treatment
- Chairside surgical assisting
- Monitor patient vital signs
- Expose Radiographs
- Monitor patient postoperative
- Provide preoperative and post operative instruction
- Maintain protocols during IV sedation
- Prepare, breakdown, disinfect and sterilize treatment rooms and instruments
- Perform other related job duties as assigned
- Must demonstrate strong teamwork as the providers assisted are subject to change dependent upon the practice needs
