About The Position

This role provides responsibility for a specific area of blending, ensuring smooth operation and troubleshooting problems. The position emphasizes not only efficiency but also innovation, requiring the individual to identify and capitalize on opportunities to improve safety, quality, and performance. Strict adherence to HACCP, Food Safety, and Food Defense standards is mandatory.

Requirements

Physical ability to complete job duties
Ability to stand for long periods (8-12) hours
Lift, push or pull 100 lbs
Working in varying temperature environments
Ability to bend, twist and complete repetitive motions
Ability to follow directions accurately
Attention to detail and organization skills
An aptitude for understanding and adhering to detailed manufacturing processes and safety protocols.
Strong verbal and written communication skills

Willingness to participate in ongoing training or cross training
Ability to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed
Requires valid driver’s license

Nice To Haves

A background in manufacturing or production would be beneficial, but a strong desire to learn is also highly valued.

Responsibilities

Operate blending equipment including shut down/start up procedures, troubleshoot equipment problems
Certified to operate a forklift
Follow blending instructions and sampling plans as requested
Follow all Good Documenting Practices (GDP) and guidelines to ensure accurate information
Have general knowledge of ingredients being used
Complete equipment and environment cleaning requirements
Disassemble, clean and reassemble equipment to meet company, customer, and regulatory inspections
Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and guidelines to maintain a clean & sanitary workplace
Complete additional responsibilities as assigned by leadership
