Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Class “D” or Class "G" Security Licenses in the state of Florida.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in high-stress environments while demonstrating professionalism and sound judgment.
• Must pass a background check and drug test screening.
• Reliable transportation and the ability to travel between assigned locations as required.
• Must be available for on-call assignments and able to respond to staffing needs as required by operational demands.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to travel to multiple sites and areas, including but not limited to Daytona, Auburndale, Groveland, and Orlando, FL.
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
• Must be capable of functioning independently and remaining calm in high-pressure or intense situations.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a visible and professional presence to deter illegal activities and ensure the safety of personnel, visitors, and property.
• Respond promptly and appropriately to security incidents, emergencies, and alarms.
• Use excellent customer service and communication skills to deescalate tense or potentially violent situations.
• Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services as needed.
• Accurately document and report incidents, activities, and observations using company-approved forms and protocols.
• Inspect the premises for security risks, hazards, or violations and report findings to the appropriate personnel.
• Travel between assigned sites and areas as needed to support daily operations.
• Provide security coverage at various locations for call-offs, employee time-off requests, and other operational staffing needs as required.
• Adapt to different client environments, post assignments, and operational procedures while maintaining consistent standards.
• Comply with all state regulations, including maintaining current unarmed/armed security licensure in Florida.
