About The Position

The Flex Security Officer protects people and property across a range of client sites. The role acts as a proactive deterrent to criminal behavior, enforces client-established policies, and identifies and escalates potential safety issues. As a Flex Officer, you play a central role in cultivating safe and orderly environments while safeguarding client assets. This position also opens up career-growth potential inside TRIDENT by giving you exposure to a broad range of client sites and the chance to develop leadership capabilities.

Requirements

  • Must be a minimum of 21 years old
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required
  • Previous experience in a security capacity is beneficial
  • Strong communication skills — verbal, written, and interpersonal
  • Comfortable engaging professionally with people at all levels of an organization
  • Successful completion of a comprehensive background check and drug screen is required
  • Basic computer skills are required
  • Reliable, flexible, and capable of working a variety of shift types
  • Able to stay composed and professional under challenging circumstances
  • All mandated state and local security licenses must be secured before the start date
  • A valid Driver’s License is required (for any assignments involving driving)
  • A minimum of one year of driving experience with a clean motor vehicle record is required
  • No major traffic infractions within the previous 36 months
  • No more than one minor infraction or at-fault accident within the prior 24 months
  • Personal auto insurance must remain current and satisfy company requirements
  • Availability for multiple shifts per day, up to all 7 days of the week, is required
  • Schedules may shift based on operational needs and may be released on a weekly basis
  • Must be available for on-call duty with a 30-minute response window

Responsibilities

  • Protect client properties and employees through routine patrols and a visible security presence
  • Spot, deter, and document suspicious or unsafe conduct and criminal incidents
  • Hold a high-visibility stance to cut down on policy violations and preserve a secure environment
  • Deliver outstanding customer service and interact with every client and visitor professionally
  • React to emergencies and critical events with composure and decisiveness
  • Submit thorough incident reports and any other required documentation on time
  • Operate on-site security technology and two-way radio communication equipment
  • Cover open shifts, unexpected absences, and specialized assignments across various client locations
  • Stay reachable via phone or computer and reply promptly to scheduling updates
