About The Position

We’re looking for a reliable and professional Flex Security Officer to join our team in Wilton, CT. This position is for one fixed location in Wilton and requires flexibility to work various shifts, including overnights and weekends. As a Flex Officer, you’ll help maintain a safe and secure environment for our client’s employees, visitors, and property. You’ll cover different shifts as needed, so being dependable and adaptable is key. The Security Officer position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. Frequently our Security Officers will provide customer service and information to a client’s employees and customers.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and respond quickly in emergencies
• Strong communication and observation skills
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Must be able to pass any required background checks and drug screening

Nice To Haves

• Prior security or customer service experience preferred, but not required
• If you have retail, food service or hospitality industry background you are a great fit for this role; if not, we will provide you with the training and everything you need for a great introduction to a career in the security industry.

Responsibilities

• Patrol the premises and monitor for suspicious activity or safety hazards
• Control access to the facility and verify identification as required
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies according to site procedures
• Write clear, accurate incident and daily activity reports
• Provide excellent customer service to clients, employees, and visitors
• Follow all site assignment instructions and company policies
