About The Position

Securitas is hiring a full-time Flex Security Officer in Central Massachusetts at $22.00 per hour, working approximately 40 hours per week. The schedule and work location vary from week to week. Candidates must be available for first, second, and third shifts on all days, including weekends, and should not have extensive prior time commitments.

The Security Officer safeguards people, property, and client assets by monitoring and patrolling premises, identifying suspicious activity, enforcing site rules and regulations, maintaining a visible security presence, and responding to incidents or emergencies. Officers help deter criminal activity, preserve order, and provide customer service and information to client employees and customers. The position requires a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• At least one year of customer-service-related experience.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Reliable means of communication.
• Legal right to work in the United States.
• Ability to effectively speak, read, and write English.
• Open availability for all days and first, second, and third shift times, including weekends.
• Intermediate computer skills.
• Excellent observational and de-escalation skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Strong communication skills.
• Commitment to ethical practices and following safety protocols while maintaining a safe and respectful approach.

Responsibilities
