About The Position

SMSSI is seeking reliable, professional, and flexible Flex Security Officers. This position is ideal for individuals who are dependable, adaptable, and comfortable working at a variety of sites. As a Flex Security Officer (Floater/Rover), you will be responsible for protecting client property and personnel through observation, patrols, incident reporting, and exceptional customer service while maintaining a safe and secure environment.

Requirements

• Valid Driver's License
• HS Diploma GED or H.S. Equivalent
• Driver's License
• OH Guard Card

Nice To Haves

• 1–3 years of security experience, preferably in mobile patrol, rover, or flex security.
• Previous experience in law enforcement, military service, or customer service.
• Strong observation, communication, and report-writing skills.
• Experience in security operations, scheduling, or related fields is a plus.
• Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently while maintaining professionalism in a variety of environments.
• Strong customer service skills, sound judgment, and the ability to remain calm during emergencies are essential.
