About The Position

Sunstates Security is hiring flex officers for central Phoenix and north valley. Multiple positions are available. This position will be a cover position for all Days/Shifts and offer a rate of $22.00 per hour - with weekly pay. The Flex Officer position is crucial to our company’s operational and financial success. The flex officer provides trained, competent support by working shifts which become open due to illness, call-offs, weather, vacation, or other causes. This enables Sunstates to provide continual, uninterrupted service to our customers, while also protecting the health and work balance of our personnel.

Requirements

3 years of customer service experience.
Must demonstrate excellent writing, oral, analytical, and communication skills.
Ability to exercise good judgment and make sound decisions.
Must have dependable means of transportation.
Must practice good grooming standards.
Must have current guard card.
High School diploma or equivalent.
AZ Guard License.

Responsibilities

Read and become extremely knowledgeable of Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
Act quickly and efficiently according to Post Orders and SOP directives.
Provide trained, competent support by working shifts which become open due to illness, call-offs, weather, vacation, or other causes.
Be trained at various posts and/or facilities based on operational need.
Work any shift for which you are scheduled in advance which falls within the availability described on this sheet.
Communicate unavailability on upcoming dates or times with your supervisor.
Work at least 80% of the shifts for which you are called in for short-notice call-ins.
