About The Position
GardaWorld Security Services is Now Hiring a Flex Security Officer! This role requires open availability and a valid driver's license. The position focuses on customer service, building meaningful connections, and engaging with people on all shifts in various environments such as office towers, hotels, and shopping centers. As a Security Officer – Concierge, you will be a key point of contact for visitors and staff, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment.
Requirements
- Must have open availability for mornings, evenings, or overnights - any day of the week
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must have security experience or at least 2 years of verifiable experience in customer service
- Be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
- Be able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Proficient in basic phone & computer skills
- You have a state license if required
Nice To Haves
- Prior badging experience is a plus
- If you have Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience – even better!
Responsibilities
- Customer service duties like welcoming, verifying identity, and guiding visitors
- Manage access control
- Perform regular patrols to identify potential risks
- Inspect security equipment and report any maintenance needs
- Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams
- Answer questions in person or by phone
- Write incident reports and communicate security concerns
- Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property
- Create badges for customer employees, vendors and guests.
- Must be computer literate- able to type and learn new programs
