Flex Operator - ALL SHIFTS NEEDED!
About The Position
The Flex Operator role at Pete & Gerry's is designed to be flexible based on the daily needs of the operation. This position could involve a variety of tasks including final in-process inspection, staging of eggs, setting up machines and date codes, managing carton inventory, or preparing cartons for production runs. The role contributes to delivering high-quality products while upholding the company's commitments to animal welfare, food safety, and responsible farming. The operator is expected to act boldly, embrace continuous improvement, and collaborate with teammates and customers.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience in a processing environment preferred
- Ability to lift a minimum of 40 pounds
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Flexibility required to adjust schedule as needed
Responsibilities
- Perform general housekeeping duties such as clearing eggs from the floor, cleaning wash screens, organizing materials, cleaning floors, and emptying/cleaning rubbish cans.
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure products meet specified standards.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals and meet deadlines.
- Handle materials as required for production.
