About The Position

Magris Talc operates mines and processing plants, yielding high-quality talc. We harness the intrinsic properties of this mineral to provide solutions for various industries including adhesives and sealants, building products, plastics, rubber, paints, food, paper and board, pharmaceuticals, and ceramics. We are looking for a Mill Flex Operator to join our team at Magris's largest ore processing plant in Three Forks, Montana. This role operates under limited supervision, adhering to federal and state regulations, and company safety policies. The operator will manage plant/packaging equipment and forklifts, perform loading and shipping duties, and maintain good housekeeping practices to ensure a safe and efficient operation.

Requirements

High School Education or equivalent
1+ years’ experience in industrial/manufacturing environment.

Nice To Haves

Experience in operating milling equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

Operates semi-bulk packaging equipment.
Operates a forklift to disposition finished goods.
Operates a loader to transport crude talc from ore bays to milling systems.
Works with the Plant Control Operator to ensure quality compliance and efficient operation of all production mills (Roller Mills, Air Classifier Mills, Classifier, Pellet Mills), including quality control checking.
Works closely with the Plant Control Operator in delivering the proper crudes to the three (3) roller milling systems.
Inspects and loads rail boxcars, containers, and trucks with a forklift, ensuring optimal arrival conditions.
Performs repair and reports defects in assigned areas.
Repairs and rebuilds equipment as needed.
Fabricates, cuts, and welds as needed.
Operates all equipment associated with the packaging system, including bulk and robotic packaging systems.
Performs any other duties as assigned.
