About The Position

Eaton’s IS AER FED division is currently seeking a Flex Forming - 2nd Shift to join our team in Beltsville, MD! The core hours are 3 pm - 11:30 pm. The hourly rate for this position is $27.50 per hour + 10% shift premium. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Requirements

High School Diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution.
Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing experience.

This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Position requires advanced shop math and use of precision measuring instruments such as dial calipers, dial indicators, micrometers, and depth gauges
Basic understanding of blueprint drawings and ability to follow detailed written instructions
Position requires exposure to oil, dirt, and heat.
Ability to certify Seam Welding, and/or Laser Welding
Position requires wearing PPE including apron, safety glasses, and hearing protection
Must be able to lift up to 35lbs on a regular basis with or without reasonable accommodation.
Ability to stand 8 hours a day with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

Operate shear, roller, planishing machine to make slugs/cuffs.
Operate hydraulic C-frame presses and/or Hydroforming equipment.
Polish parts to specifications.
Pressure test aircraft ducting systems using High Pressure and Burst Tests
Read and interpret blueprints and in accordance with standard shop practices.
Ensure quality of parts through visual inspection and physical measurement using a wide variety of hand tools and gages.
Work in accordance with general safety rules and practices.
Keep immediate work area clean and free from hazards.
Responsible for finished parts conformity to print or specification.
Participate in continuous improvement of processes.
