About The Position

We're looking for a self-motivated, detail-oriented Fleet and Warehouse Technician to keep our shop, yard, vehicles, and warehouse running at peak efficiency. This is a hands-on, varied role — if you take pride in organization, work well independently, and aren't afraid to get your hands dirty, we want to hear from you.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; CDL strongly preferred
  • Mechanical aptitude and comfort with physical, hands-on work
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. throughout the shift
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel; general computer literacy
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-directed
  • Dependable, punctual, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

  • Prior fleet, warehouse, or construction support experience
  • Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Experience with heavy equipment or trailer delivery
  • Welding skills

Responsibilities

  • Inspect, track, and support maintenance of fleet vehicles, trailers, and equipment
  • Monitor DVIRs, service intervals, GPS reports, and fuel/cost logs
  • Keep the shop, yard, and warehouse clean, organized, and running smoothly
  • Receive deliveries, verify orders, and manage material check-in/check-out
  • Maintain and audit tool, parts, and safety equipment inventories
  • Issue PPE, FR gear, and safety equipment to employees; track calibration due dates
  • Deliver parts and materials to job sites; run errands as needed
  • Assist with facility maintenance, snow removal, and yard upkeep
  • Support purchasing by researching vendors and reviewing invoices
