About The Position
The fleet training specialist is responsible for developing and conducting driver training courses to a wide range of Medline employees. Coordinate and conduct training and coaching activities to ensure the safety of team members.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver training content to drivers, supervisors and managers.
- Deliver hands on driver training within assigned geography.
- Ensure that drivers are being trained in compliance with DOT and Medline standards.
- Evaluate effectiveness of training programs.
- DOT Compliance – Partner with the compliance team to ensure compliance with all applicable DOT regulations, including driver qualification files, Hours of Service, driver inspections and on the road performance.
- Develop responses and action plans to USDOT interventions and safety audits as needed.
- Perform audits and inspections within assigned region as required.
