About The Position

The PM Technician is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and preventative maintenance of Dem-Con’s fleet of trucks and other assigned assets. This role involves working with the Truck Shop Foreman to diagnose and repair various diesel trucks and equipment, as well as completing dumpster repair and fabrication projects.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections of trucks and equipment and complete preventative maintenance as scheduled/needed
• Work with Truck Shop Foreman to diagnose and perform light maintenance on Trucks, Trailers and heavy equipment such as loaders, skid steers and forklifts
• Communicate with leadership and operations to appropriately schedule any repairs and/or downtime of specific trucks or equipment
• Perform steel and aluminum fabrication and repair service on trailers, dumpsters, or other equipment
• Complete other fabrication projects as assigned
• Learn diesel and other heavy equipment maintenance tasks and assist as needed/required in order to be able to diagnose and repair vehicle and equipment malfunctions on all major systems including gas and diesel engines, transmissions, differentials, drivelines, generators, rear-end assemblies, carburetors, and hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical and cooling systems, etc.
