About The Position
Incumbents perform journey-level repairs and maintenance on a wide variety of automotive and small equipment; and assist Fleet Technicians II and Fleet Technicians III with general repairs and maintenance on a variety of diverse equipment and vehicles such as solid waste vehicles, construction equipment, fire apparatus, bucket trucks, and others.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Two years of automotive or heavy truck servicing, maintenance, and repair experience OR completion of an accredited automotive or diesel training program at a trade school or community college.
- Valid Arizona Driver License at the time of hire and must be able to maintain it.
- EPA 609 A/C Refrigerant Handlers card at the time of hire (or obtain within 6 months of hire).

- Additional education cannot be substituted for experience.
