About The Position

This position is responsible for accurately inspecting, repairing, and completing routine preventative maintenance of Fleet Equipment. This includes standard component inspections and repairs. The role involves completing necessary documentation for repairs and maintenance, maintaining accurate records of work performed, parts used, and repairs/inspections completed through the online AssetWorks system. The technician will learn and assist in diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems using diagnostic tools and technical manuals. Adherence to all company, local, state, and federal policies and regulations, including DOT, OSHA, and Reyes Fleet Management standards, is required, ensuring compliance with safety programs, correct selection and use of appropriate tools, PPE, machine guarding, and established best safety practices. This position requires driving Reyes Family of Businesses, Reyes Fleet Management, and customer vehicles, and is regulated by the DOT, requiring a current driver qualification file. The Driver Qualification file includes an annual motor vehicle records (MVR) check, a successfully completed DOT Physical, and Safety Performance History records request from prior employers in the last three years. Additionally, CDL holders will have a DOT Drug Screening within 30 days of start and are subject to a FMSCA Clearinghouse review. Other projects or duties may be assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/General Education Degree (GED) with 2 plus years of related experience
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Must possess own tools.
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record in compliance with Department of Transportation regulations to operate applicable company vehicles
  • Ability to frequently lift, push and/or pull weights in excess of 50 pounds, occasionally lift, push and/or pull weights in excess of 100 pounds
