About The Position

The Fleet Supervisor is responsible for leading the day-to-day execution of Crescent Energy's fleet management program. This role supervises fleet specialist support staff and serves as a primary point of contact for field teams and service providers of fleet management, telematics, vehicle technology, maintenance, roadside assistance, and related services. The Fleet Supervisor helps keep fleet services and systems working reliably across Crescent’s operations. The role coordinates issue resolution, supports accurate vehicle and driver information, monitors provider performance, and turns fleet data and field feedback into practical improvements.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of fleet, transportation, field operations, or related experience, preferably in upstream oil and gas or another multi-location operating environment.
  • Strong knowledge of fleet operations, vehicle maintenance coordination, fuel controls, roadside services, and vendor management.
  • Working knowledge of telematics and camera platforms, including configuration, reporting, device health, user access, and operational troubleshooting.
  • Ability to manage fleet hierarchies, driver assignments, and data quality across multiple systems.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn fleet data into clear, actionable reports and improvement plans.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-management skills with field personnel, leadership, and external vendors.
  • Demonstrated ability to organize competing priorities, resolve issues promptly, and follow through on commitments.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and standard business systems.
  • Commitment to safe driving, service excellence, continuous improvement, and operational accountability.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience supervising or leading administrative, field support, or vendor-management work is preferred.
  • Experience with fleet management systems, telematics, in-cab camera programs, maintenance coordination, and fuel programs is strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Operations, or a related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience will be considered.
  • experience with Holman, Geotab, or GoFocus Plus is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise, coach, and prioritize the work of the fleet specialist support staff to provide responsive support for field operations and consistent fleet administration.
  • Serve as the primary day-to-day liaison for Crescent field personnel and fleet program vendors, escalating issues and driving timely resolution.
  • Partner with Operations to align fleet services, vehicle availability, and operating standards with business needs.
  • Maintain a strong field presence and working knowledge of operational challenges to improve service delivery and fleet program adoption.
  • Oversee field-level execution of the fleet management provider’s services, including maintenance coordination, roadside assistance, towing, and related workflows.
  • Help drivers and field teams understand how to request service, report issues, and use available fleet resources.
  • Monitor fleet data and service activity to identify opportunities to reduce downtime, control cost, and improve the driver experience.
  • Coordinate the operation of telematics and other in-vehicle technology, including device health, installation status, data/video availability, alerts, and issue resolution.
  • Work with internal teams and providers to support accurate driver assignments, reporting relationships, user access, integrations, and data quality across fleet systems.
  • Support system changes and rollouts, including testing, field communication, and resolution of adoption issues.
  • Make fleet and driving information available in a form that helps leaders coach drivers, understand risk, manage vehicle use, and make decisions.
  • Develop, validate, and distribute fleet, telematics, and camera reports that provide timely, practical visibility to field and leadership teams.
  • Maintain data accuracy for vehicle records, odometer readings, driver assignments, maintenance status, and vendor system records.
  • Analyze fleet trends, service performance, exceptions, and recurring field issues; recommend process improvements and track follow-through.
  • Support implementation and continuous refinement of Crescent fleet standards, quick reference guides, training, and communication materials.
