This position requires a schedule of 2PM-12:30AM Monday-Friday and every 3rd Saturday. The Fleet Shift Supervisor supervises and provides direct leadership for technicians, manages workflow, and assigns tasks. This role oversees the day-to-day operations of employees in the maintenance shop, coordinates and supervises all maintenance work and repairs, and monitors progress and quality. The supervisor reviews driver repairs and other maintenance requests, prepares work order documents, and performs mechanical duties as needed. Additionally, they monitor inventory of replacement parts and restock as needed, oversee personnel including coaching, training, evaluating employee performance, and conducting disciplinary action as needed. They provide input into termination, compensation, and promotion decisions, interpret and ensure consistent application of organizational policies and safety regulations, and create and submit reports as necessary.
