About The Position

The Fleet Services Tire and Lube Technician is an entry level position with The Hertz Corporation and is the launching point for their Fleet Services team. In this role, the technician will be performing preventative maintenance, with a focus on Oil and Tire Changes. The ideal candidate must be a quick learner and possess an assortment of tools, including oil filter wrenches, a socket set, and a toolbox to keep them in. Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
Entry level position with no required experience
Must have a Valid Driver’s License

Nice To Haves

Preferred prior experience with automotive repair (personal or professional)
Familiarity with the below tools (to be provided)
3/8” and ½” impact wrench
Sockets wrench - metric and standard - preferably long and short lengths.
Oil Filter wrenches and tools
TPMS tool - reset tire sensors
Combo wrenches
Screwdrivers

Responsibilities

Performing preventative maintenance, with a focus on Oil and Tire Changes.
Performing vehicle repairs with oversight.
Ability to use shop equipment such as lifts, tire changing equipment, alignment machines, and scan tools.
