About The Position

Johnson & Towers, a subsidiary of Indel Power Group, is hiring a B-level Fleet Service Diesel Mechanic/Technician at its Baltimore, Maryland location. The technician services fleet equipment at customer sites and performs diagnosis, repairs, preventive maintenance, adjustments, and overhauls. The role uses OEM software, tools, and technologies to address customer vehicle and equipment concerns. Requirements

Previous experience as a technician.
A driving record in good standing.
Ability to meet the physical demands of the technician role, including prolonged standing or walking; occasional lifting and pushing or pulling objects weighing up to 50 pounds or more; and frequent use of hands, reaching, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, bending, stretching, or twisting.
Good vision to inspect repair work and effective communication skills.
Ability to work safely in noisy areas, around odors, and in temperature or humidity extremes.

Responsibilities

Diagnose malfunctions and perform repairs, preventive maintenance, adjustments, and overhauls.
Use OEM software, tools, and technologies to maintain, diagnose, and repair customer vehicles or equipment.
Maintain a commitment to safety and cleanliness.
Communicate job status, updates, and changes to the management team.
Service fleet equipment at customer sites.
