About The Position
Facilitate effective educational, safety and skills training programs to improve the safety culture and accident rate within our Publix private fleet. Serve as a regulatory technical safety expert for Publix transportation and respond to initial accident scenes, collecting information and assisting in the accident investigation of asserted or potential claims involving Publix vehicles and providing field support for our Publix risk management department.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (preferably in Safety and Health, Business Management or related field) or equivalent experience
- In-depth knowledge of Publix’s Transportation operation
- Three years field experience in fleet Safety, DOT compliance and accident investigation
- NATMI Certified Supervisor of Safety
- First Aid/Blood borne Pathogen certified
