About The Position

TCI Rental and Leasing is seeking a Level 2 Reefer Technician with 3+ years of experience to join their team. This role is for a dedicated team of ethical and caring professional mechanics who are looking to grow their careers. The position involves working in a non-climate-controlled environment and adhering to all safety and environmental regulations.

Requirements

• 2-4 years mechanical / refrigeration experience required.
• Specialized training and experience in the overhaul of refrigeration components required.
• 608 certifications required. Must keep certifications current / valid.
• Proficiency in the use of all necessary tools of trade required.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook required.
• The ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment is required.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Vocational / Technical or certification preferred.
• ASE Certification preferred.
• Current CDL license with air brake certification preferred. Willingness to acquire CDL if you do not have one.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical and refrigeration work on fleet vehicles.
• Overhaul refrigeration components.
• Maintain current and valid 608 certifications.
• Utilize all necessary tools of the trade.
• Follow OSHA, Federal, State, Local regulatory and environmental laws.
