About The Position

Volunteer Fleet Services in Murfreesboro, TN is hiring a full-time Fleet Mechanic to take excellent care of our clients' trucks and fleet vehicles. Our Fleet Mechanic is responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing all kinds of issues with light, medium, and heavy-duty fleet vehicles and trucks. You complete top-notch work in a reasonable timeframe, getting our customers' trucks back on the road so they can keep their businesses running smoothly! Specializing in medium- and heavy-duty fleet and trailer repair, Volunteer Fleet Services is on a mission to keep clients' vehicles moving so they can keep their businesses going. Requirements

3+ years of experience in a shop as a diesel tech
Experience with light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles
Specialized training in and experience with diagnosing and troubleshooting engines, transmissions, and other major components
Completion of OEM training courses and 608/609 MVAC certifications
Ability to perform DOT inspections
Ability to provide your tools
Knowledge of general repairs and preventative maintenance
Valid driver's license
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening test

Nice To Haves

CDL
ASE certification
4+ years of diesel experience
