About The Position
Nippon Sanso Matheson is seeking a Fleet Mechanic to maintain and repair fleet tractors and cryogenic tankers. This role involves diagnosing mechanical problems, providing service and maintenance on tractors and trailers, and performing routine inspections. The mechanic will also be responsible for replacing tires as needed and maintaining accurate paperwork.
Requirements
- Certification from a mechanic trade school or 2 years of related experience.
- Must be computer literate.
- MUST HAVE AIR BRAKE CERTIFICATION
- Must be certified and able to perform inspections on trucks and trailers.
- DOT brake certification/ Federal Inspection
- Prior Diesel/Truck and Trailer Mechanic Experience
- ABS system troubleshooting
Nice To Haves
- Cryogenic and /or hydraulic experience a plus.
- Welding experience is a plus.
- Hydraulic Systems experience
- Will need to be willing to learn cryogenic system and components
Responsibilities
