About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Fleet Mechanic to join our team, responsible for the inspection, maintenance, and repair of our concrete trucks and equipment. This role involves diagnosing and resolving mechanical and electrical issues, performing routine maintenance to ensure vehicle functionality and longevity, and scheduling future maintenance. The ideal candidate will have experience with hydraulic systems, diesel engines, and heavy-duty components, and must be dependable, safety-minded, and capable of working independently. This is a full-time, in-person position.

Requirements

Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
Ability to obtain and maintain a DOT Medical Card
Ability to work on hydraulic systems, diesel engines, and heavy-duty components
Must be dependable, safety-minded, and able to work independently

Nice To Haves

Prior experience as a diesel mechanic, heavy equipment mechanic, or similar role preferred

Responsibilities

Inspect vehicle, engine, and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately.
Inspect vehicle, computer, and electronic systems to repair, maintain, and upgrade.
Inspect, maintenance, and repair of plant equipment, which includes climbing silos up to but not over 100 ft.
Conduct routine maintenance work aiming to vehicle functionality and longevity.
Schedule future maintenance sessions.
Repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts and fix issues.
Provide accurate estimates (time, effort) for a repair or maintenance job.
Keep logs on work and issues.
Maintain equipment and tools in good condition.
