Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Three years of vehicle repair experience preferred
- Valid driver's license with a clean record
- Ability to maintain a FEDMED card
- Physically capable of lifting 50 pounds, bending, kneeling, and working in various positions
- Flexibility to work overtime when needed
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Nice To Haves
- CDL is preferred or must be able to obtain
Responsibilities
- Inspect and repair gas and diesel engines
- Perform routine maintenance
- Fix issues with electrical and hydraulic systems
- Complete yearly safety checks
- Follow DOT rules
- Use diagnostic tools to solve problems
- Perform welding or fabrication work as needed
- Keep work area clean
- Track repairs
- Stay in touch with managers
