About The Position
Responsible for performing mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance on company fleet vehicles. This role involves troubleshooting, diagnosing, and completing repairs on all types of vehicles, performing preventative maintenance, responding to service calls, maintaining tools, cleaning the work area, and picking up and delivering vehicles.
Requirements
- High School or GED required.
- 1 Plus years of mechanic experience on light and heavy equipment required.
- Demonstrated mechanical and technical aptitude.
- CDL Class A required.
Nice To Haves
- 3 Plus years journeyman mechanic experience preferred.
- Gasoline, diesel and propane vehicle experience preferred.
- May be required to supply automotive hand tools (not including heavy duty or diagnostic tools).
- ASE certification preferred.
