About The Position

Ground Logistics is hiring an experienced Fleet Mechanic to maintain the safety, reliability, and performance of our growing fleet in the Richmond, VA area. The company supports more than 200 step vans, box trucks, and delivery vans throughout Virginia, Delaware, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, and Maryland. The successful candidate will play a key role in preventive maintenance, repairs, and fleet readiness to keep our operations running efficiently.

Requirements

Proven experience servicing light and medium-duty trucks
Strong working knowledge of automotive tools and repair techniques
Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical issues independently
Willingness to undergo a background check

Nice To Haves

Experience working on step vans and box trucks

Responsibilities

Conduct regular thorough inspections of all vehicles
Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake pads, and filter replacements
Diagnose and repair mechanical issues, like replacement of lights, locks, etc.
Utilize tools and mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and fix vehicle problems
