About The Position
PRS is hiring immediately for an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team with a full-time permanent position in our CSX Bergen, NJ rail terminal in a recession-proof industry.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2-year experience in the mechanical field
- Preventative maintenance minded
- Experience and knowledge working with Air, Electrical, Hydraulic and Diesel systems and components
- Must have own tools
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must be at least 18 with verifiable mechanical experience
- Candidates must undergo a background check.
- IPCS test(physical).
- Drug screening.
- Required to join local union.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair forklifts, company vehicles, and hostler fleet.
- Maintain Hostler Fleet
- Assist in other areas as needed by managers.
