Fleet Mechanic - Per Diem
About The Position
Dolphin Transportation Specialist, a proud member of the Hoffmann Family of Companies, is the largest independently owned, operated, and maintained fleet of luxury vehicles in the South Florida region. Dolphin currently operates in the Naples/Ft. Myers, Sarasota/Tampa, and Ft. Lauderdale/Miami areas and is continuously expanding, with the Hoffman Family of Companies present in many cities across the U.S. Dolphin is seeking an experienced, Per Diem Fleet Mechanic in the Naples area to join their team. The ideal candidate is a courteous, friendly, self-starting team player with an excellent work ethic who requires little supervision. Dolphin Transportation operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, 7 days a week.
Requirements
- Must have a minimum of 3 - 4 years' experience in repairs.
- Driver's License a must.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Strong communication skills.
- Must be a team player.
- Strong work ethics and a commitment to extra hours when needed.
- Ability to adjust to work schedule and business needs.
- Adaptive and flexible, with a positive 'can do' attitude.
- Must have their own tools.
Nice To Haves
- CDL A or B preferred.
- P endorsement is a plus.
- Computer diagnostics knowledge is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of inspections and repairs on Sedans, SUVs, Vans and possibly buses in our shop.
- Brake inspections and repairs, light and wiring repairs.
- Perform oil changes and PM services.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Comply with all company, OHSA, EPA and DOT rules and guidelines.
- Perform quality work in a timely manner.
- All other duties assigned, including completing all work orders.
